Brass Urli
Brass urlis, the wide, shallow bowls used for floating flowers and diyas, hand-cast in Aligarh in plain, bell-rimmed, peacock, tree and deity designs, from 1 kg tabletop bowls to 36 kg lobby centrepieces.

Choosing a size
Around a third of our urlis weigh under 3 kg and suit coffee tables, reception counters and pooja rooms. Mid-size bowls of 3–8 kg work for entrances and dining tables, and urlis of 8 kg and above, with jhula, multi-tier or deity figures, are made for hotel lobbies, wedding venues and temple courtyards. Our urli decoration guide has placement ideas.
Designs and finishes
Designs include ghungroo (bell-rim) urlis, four-diya and multi-diya urlis that hold oil lamps, peacock and elephant urlis, and urlis with Ganesh, Lakshmi or Radha Krishna figures. Finishes range from bright polished gold to antique and two-tone, with optional stone work.
Wholesale and export
Urlis are popular with home-décor retailers, event decorators and hospitality buyers. Most designs can be ordered from 5 pieces, mixed across designs, and we pack each bowl in anti-tarnish wrap, bubble wrap and 7-ply export cartons. Read our shipping and export policy for lead times and documents.
